Water Efficiency Home Visit Enhanced Framework

In April 2024, Artesia launched the Water Efficiency Home Visit Enhanced Framework. The project was commissioned by the Water Efficiency Collaborative Fund, funded by UK water companies. The fund awards projects that focus on the water efficiency research. During AMP 7, the fund has a budget of around £100,000 per annum, and projects delivered are published on Waterwise’s database, a tool available to all interested parties. Water efficiency home visits are a crucial part of many water company strategies and are delivered at various scales.

Our enhanced framework explores all aspects of a home visit, from planning to evaluation stage, to help maximise demand reduction. From those who are yet to embark on a home visit programme, to those with established large-scale programmes in place, the framework will offer help along every step of the way. We’ve received great feedback to date and are happy to offer help to water companies with advice and to assist in the application of the framework to their individual circumstances.
