Rob’s back at Westminster!

In March, our Director Rob Lawson appeared in front of the Environment Food and Rural Affairs select committee for the second time. Again, he was representing CIWEM in his role as Chair of the Water Resources specialist panel. This time, he was giving evidence on the National Policy Statement (NPS) for Water Resources Infrastructure. The aim of the NPS is to ensure there is an appropriate framework for examining and deciding on development consent applications for nationally significant infrastructure such as reservoirs, water transfers and desalination plants.
