Evidence of our expertise

As Chair of the CIWEM Water Resources Panel, our Director Rob Lawson gave evidence in the inquiry into the regulation of the water industry, held by the Environment Food and Rural Affairs select committee, in the House of Commons on 20th June. Thankfully it wasn’t the grilling you see some of these select committees give to MPs or more controversial witnesses! There was one tricky question about water company funding but in general the select committee were interested to see how regulation could be organised to deliver increased levels of metering, water efficiency and leakage reduction.
