Water resources consultant
Artesia Consulting is looking for ambitious and enterprising people who can contribute to the continued growth of our water resources consultancy work.
Your role will be primarily to help deliver a wide range of interesting and challenging water resources projects, covering areas such as water resource planning, leakage strategy and analysis, water balance analysis, demand forecasting, water conservation or smart metering. The role may also include project management, to achieve time, budget and quality objectives.
Location: Yate, near Bristol
Your skills and experience:
You will be confident and proactive, and able to work as part of a team to deliver challenging project objectives. You are likely to have 5 to 10 years’ broad technical experience in one or more of the following areas: water resources, demand management, water conservation, leakage, or metering. This experience will have been gained in consultancy or the water industry.
Good computing skills are essential, with a good knowledge of MS Office. Experience of other analytical, database or programming packages may be an advantage. Good communication and report writing skills are required.
You will have a degree with a scientific, environmental or engineering background, have excellent numeracy skills, and be able to apply your skills to a wide variety of challenges.
You will ideally have some project management experience, but this is also an area we would develop with you.
Salary: Competitive and appropriate to experience.
